Volunteer Thursdays at Glenwood Community Centre
As we approach the busy season at Glenwood Community Centre, we're looking for community members who would like to lend a helping hand!
Volunteer Thursdays will run from September 10 through December 17, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Please note that there will be no Volunteer Thursday on October 15.
Pick & Choose Your Dates!
There is no commitment to attend every Thursday! Choose the dates that work best for you and sign up for as many—or as few—shifts as your schedule allows. Even helping out for one morning makes a difference! Tasks will vary from week to week and may include helping with preparations for upcoming events, organizing supplies, decorating, assembling event materials, and other projects around the Centre.

Can't Make a Volunteer Thursday?
Volunteer Thursdays may not work with everyone's schedule—and that's okay!
If you'd like to volunteer at another time, or would like to be added to our volunteer contact list for upcoming events, projects, and tasks around the Centre, we'd still love to hear from you.
We can reach out when opportunities come up that may work for you, whether it's helping at an event, lending a hand with a project, or assisting with something around the Centre.
