Holiday Workshop

🎄 Glenwood Community Centre is thrilled to welcome Gisele from FONTastique Creations for our first-ever Holiday Workshop! 🎨

Our canteen will be open with snacks and drinks available for purchase!

Get into the holiday spirit with a hands-on DIY wood sign workshop—perfect for creating something special for your home or as a heartfelt gift!

Everything is included when you attend this workshop. The stencil, wood, paint, stain, painting tools, protective aprons, and hanging hardware. You will need to choose your stencil design and wood base colour ahead of time. Your one-time use stencil and pre-stained/painted wood board will be ready and waiting for you.

Our workshops are guided step-by-step and are perfect for participants ages 10 and up. They’re designed to be fun and creative while allowing everyone to work at their own pace. Participants should be comfortable following instructions and working with paint and stencils, as our instructors will be supporting the whole group rather than providing one-on-one assistance. Parents know their child’s capabilities best, so please use your discretion when registering. You’ll leave with a unique, one-of-a-kind handmade piece to brighten up your home or gift to someone special—just in time for the Christmas season!

Deadline to Register:

To ensure your materials are ready for the workshop, please choose your stencil design and base wood colour by Friday, November 7 (two weeks before the event).

There’s a lot of prep work involved with each stencil and wood piece, so the earlier the better — thank you in advance!

Please note that some wood sizes are limited, so priority will be first come, first served. Please note that no refunds will be issued due to the customization of each piece. If you are no longer able to attend, we can have your kit ready for you to pick up from the Centre.
